All three windows now removed for re glazing ....all screws came out ok! taking apart the side windows...ordered new seals First go at scraping off the old antifoul ....nice smooth hull with no blisters

  Busy first day back on the Hurley, shelfs made and fitted , ready for insulation and lining carpet.

New bunk Tops first fit Next job is side wall insulation then lining carpet on wall and bunk sides First trial fit of step box and hatch coming,  Project Hurley will now have to wait for several weeks as our other project boat in Scotland requies sailing! www.westerlymerlin.blogspot.com

After much careful use of angle grinder ..managed to cut the rudder tube and stock rudder tube seems to be standard one inch bore steel gas pipe threads at each end       now just need one inch steel bar and flanges welding on before rudder re build

Locker tops/bunk boards cut from 9 mm ply and double varnished Boards laid out to get an idea of the wood required for frame work
